JFK高校 登校２日目：書道体験とウェルカムパーティー

登校２日目の本日、JFK高校の生徒たちは、日本文化を体験するプログラムとして書道に取り組みました。。生徒たちは筆と墨を使い、集中して一文字一文字に思いを込めながら作品を仕上げました。初めての書道に挑戦する生徒も多く、真剣な表情と楽しそうな笑顔が印象的でした。

On the second day of school, students from JFK High School participated in a Japanese cultural program featuring calligraphy.
Using traditional brushes and ink, the students focused intently as they poured their thoughts into each character they wrote. For many, it was their first time trying calligraphy, and their serious expressions and joyful smiles left a lasting impression.





放課後には、本校PTA国際交流委員会の支援の下、「ウェルカムパーティー」が開催され、筝曲部と吹奏楽部による演奏でJFK生を温かく迎えました。和の音色と迫力ある演奏が会場を彩り、生徒たちは音楽を楽しみ、軽食をとりながら学校の雰囲気を感じつつ、親睦を深めることができました。文化と交流が融合した、心に残る一日となりました。

After school, a “Welcome Party” was held with support from our PTA International Exchange Committee.
The event featured performances by the koto music club and the brass band, warmly welcoming the JFK students. The elegant sounds of traditional Japanese instruments and the powerful musical performances filled the venue, creating a vibrant atmosphere. While enjoying light refreshments, students were able to experience the school’s ambiance and deepen their friendships. It was a memorable day where culture and exchange beautifully came together.
